That’s cool, Dave! I’d do the same thing. This is another thing about Southeast that’s different from other mega churches I’ve been to. Thanks for bein’ so available, Dave.

Our family has shaken your hand at that spot before and we are not visitors, just members who overslept! I feel a bit guilty to be “caught” with sleepy eyes at 11:15, late for church! Ha! Thanks for being a caring pastor. We are grateful for you!

Dave, wouldn’t it be fun to ask the regulars to switch places one weekend and open up a section or sections for all who aren’t regular to sit in. The wife and I come in some weekends and sit in a different church by moving into the back or to one of the balcony seats. It’s really a different feeling from sitting where we normally do.

That is what makes you, you. Do more of these. It’s interesting. Thanks.

Thanks Dave. I really like seeing you there to greet and encourage us as we come to worship. It adds a personal touch in such a big church and it shows that you care about the people. You are doing an awesome job.

Great idea, Dave, to greet people in the balcony! Keep up the good work!

We just had to let you know what an awesome job you did this weekend! You hit the ball out of the park! Thanks for “getting in our faces” and “stepping on our toes”, while speaking the truth in love. We truly love and appreciate the time and effort you put into your sermons!

P.S. The passion with which you delivered your message still resonated clearly through the screen at the Indiana campus. You could hear a pin drop in the sanctuary this weekend while you spoke. Great job!!!

I remember when I first attended Southeast, I went to go sit in the balcony and you were there to shake my hand! Now 5 years later I sit on the 1st floor, but I will come by and say Hi one weekend!!!
Thanks for sharing Dave. You are a Blessing!!!!
